OblinEngine Research and Development has been in progress now for over 12 years and we hope to have a utility scale demonstrator built within the next three to five years. Investment permitting of course.
To understand the many types of water flow we had to sit down and write a bespoke Beta software application to help understand water flow, Water head and flow type under hundreds of scenarios. This software has proved to have been invaluable and 100% essential in running so many scenarios. A screenshot can be seen below.
